Zero salon waste into landfill
By partnering with waste management and recycling specialists Green Salon Collective and HUBBA, we are proud to achieve our goal of zero salon waste into landfill.
To date, Green Salon Collective has saved an incredible 72 tons of our salon waste from landfill by recycling, composting and recovering our ‘rubbish’. It gets better, as they donate all of their profits to local support charities such as Food Cycle, Haircuts 4 Homeless and tree planting. Want to know more? Follow this link.
Planet-friendly salon water & energy savings
As you can imagine, as a hairdressing business we use lots of water and energy to create gorgeous hair for our clients. We are now actively taking steps to offset the resources we use with a more sustainable carbon-efficient salon business.
In addition, we have introduced ECOHEADS at our backwash which use 65% less water than a regular shower head. As an added bonus the shower-plate technology doubles the water pressure creating a relaxing massage effect while we wash your hair.
We have also introduced 100% biodegradable vegan towels made with sustainable materials, to ensure we are able to increase hygiene levels while reducing both our carbon output and our water waste.
